I hope to publish here the options for getting your practice online. Here are a few in order of increasing complexity, effort/time, and cost:

1.  Web presence - When you buy (actually rent by the year) a domain name like EdsTherapyShack.com from a domain name registrar you must have it hosted (placed on the web so it can be found) at a different or associated company. Easiest is to buy both the name and hosting at the same company. Almost all will put up one page for you - a minimal web presence - on which you can put some information about you and your practice so you can be found by peers and patients.

2. Listing your practice in a Directory of therapists - Click on the tab a the left called "Directories of Therapists" for more information.

3. Basic website - Click on "Becoming a Household Name" for more on this.

4. A large, changing, educating website -  doing it yourself requires significant time and it becomes a mildly addictive hobby and timesink. You have been warned.
